Ds is 3 and has been potty learning for about 2mo. Usually he is bottom naked and is good about running to the potty, though at nap times lately he has been tinkling on his carpet a bit.

If he has underwear on he has trouble remembering to go. A couple of times this week he sat on the potty in his underwear, once he sat on the lid to go

.

If he has a diaper on, forget it, he has never heard of the potty. He usually saves the poos for his diaper though he has gone on the potty a few times.

I'm thinking of disposing of the diapers altogether and maybe putting plastic pants over his underpants, at least when we are out and at night.

Post in the "diapering" forum, and you'll get lots of ideas.

We are expecting to be to that point in a few weeks - I got some Dappi pull-on nylon pants. Actually, we've been using them over ds cloth diapers instead of wraps, because he prefers to put things on like clothes.

The ladies in the diapering forum can give you good ideas for sources. There's other brands too - Bummi's whisper wraps is the other one I'm thinking of at the moment.
