I have recently moved back to Santa Cruz after being gone for far too long. I have a 4-year-old son and another on the way...I would love to find a playgroup in the area that has kids around my son's age. Does anyone know of any?

Or if there are any moms in the area who would like to get together for playdates, that would be awesome, too I'm a down-to-earth, passionate soul who loves yoga, nature, meditating, writing and the ocean (of course)

Thanks in advance!

And it says you are due in Late Februrary on your signature (if that's still accurate and not from THIS last late Feburary, congratulations!) I would recommend Dominican Hospital's Breastfeeding Support Group for after your baby is born. I sat in on it when I was a doula-in-training and it was basically a place where women would breastfeed together and talk about the joys and challenges of motherhood. I know, when I become a mom (someday in the distant future) I will want to join. The woman who runs it, Janet Hoover, is amazing! Past midwife and now a lactation consultant.

Welcome to Santa Cruz! :)
