Hi Mamas-

What do you all do to strike a balance between your babes playing alone (supervised, I mean like, they play on the kitvchen floor while you peel taters) and playing together (reading, blocks, just horsing around, etc)

Same kind of thing here - dd tends to sit and weeble around the rug in the living room if I am on the 'puter, but I am still interacting with her - if she is happy and engrossed in her play I don't interfere, but if she wants a buddy I'm around.

I think you have to go with what works for you and dk - dd has always seemed to be quite introspective, and happy with her own company - she is quickly overstimulated. It's been a lot better since I let her set the pace...
