I was looking at the building I work in's News Letter and got a pleasant surprise.

They added a nursing room for mom's at the building daycare, while that's nice in and of itself that they have provided a comfortable space to come nurse your child throughout the day, the part I liked best was this:

The advertisement said "Nursing Room for mother's of new babies AND toddlers."

That rocked. Most eople don't recognize that toddlers still nurse too. i was really glad to see they encourage you to stop by and nurse regardless of age.

That really is a pleasant surprise! Hopefully more companies catch on. You just made my day, thank you for sharing!

Do you work for a large company that could use a nice thought in the minds of a few thousand women around the world? If so you should tell us who!

You know, that's the thing, it isn't any particular company, but the day care in a large office tower...all different offices.

I think the day care is part private/part state subsidized.

Made my day too.

That's great! I wish more places would remember nursing toddlers. I remember a sign one time at a store that said " no eating except babies and nursing toddlers".Made me feel good.
