I had to go through all the old threads so I could get to know you all. But then there were some really interesting threads and I couldn't help but responding even though they were old .

It was nice getting to know you all!

I don't see any issue with responding to old thread, I find it interesting how on this forum we tend to drop and restart thread so fast. On other forums I am on (non parenting) we search and bring up old threads all the time thinking it better to keep ea h type of question going in one place than 5. That was each thread is mor useful to those that come after us. MDC choice to lock threads after 6 months of no posts and the general lack us use of the search option means that here the very same things get asked and nee to get addressed sometimes as frequent as every week. It's crazy making! But also just the style the forum has settled into at this point.

We will be having folks join even this DDC for many months, those that are new to MDC, I hope they get tons from looking at back posts!
