Ok, I'm a bit past 36 weeks, and this baby has no name. These are some suggestions we've been tossing around. The middle names aren't set in stone, merely suggestions. So if you think of something else that has a nice ring to it, please say so! None of the names have any "special" meaning, just names we like. TIA!!

Gavin Barrett gets my vote. First of all because Gavin is a first name, and I can't abide the lastname-as-firstname trend. Second because it does not involve "Cash" in any way. I don't mean to sound harsh, really I don't. But naming your kid "Cash" just sounds so crass, in the same category as Tiffany, Luxury, Sterling, Cartier, etc.

<p>Of your choices, I like Ryder and Sawyer, but maybe that's because our last name ends in -er and I couldn't use those names even though I love them. I agree about Cash, I'm not loving it as a middle name, Wyatt is nicer.</p>

<p>I voted for "Cash"...it doesn't make me think of $$ at ALL...it makes me think of the man in black! ha ha. It sounds strong. I think of a gun-slinger, or a man who might have very weathered skin in his old age. Second choice would be "Ryder" but I feel like that's a little trendy right now with a few celebrities using it. </p>

<p>I know a few Gavins so it would be a lesser choice for me. And having all the names end in "N" would NOT be a big factor for me. like some families have all names starting with a letter (Dugger family, anyone?)...why make them end in a letter? </p>

<p>Love Leo Cash!  Think it goes really well with the brothers' names and is super cute.  Ryder Cash is my second favourite and I disagree with other posters about the connotations of Cash - it's got a lovely sound and goes really well as a middle name.</p>

Thanks for your voting and input everyone. I do agree with some of you, about the name Cash. That is DH's top pick. Leo and Gavin are my top 2. I don't necessarily want to keep the "n" at the end going. I actually tried to avoid it, even with Hudson. I wanted Levi, DH wouldn't agree to it, so we settled on Hudson (which fits him great!) and I got Levi as the middle name. DH said at the time I got to name #3, something he's developed amnesia about, saying he said nothing of the sort.<br><br>
He's really trying for Cash, which sounds good with our last name (starts with a hard C sound), but I'm not into it. I do think of Johnny Cash first, but I like his music, so that's not a bad thing for me. Just to me, as a first name... Not quite what I want. But I'm willing to give it to him as a middle name, because it does sound good in the middle. So I'm pretty sure we won't use it as a first name. And I don't quite like it with Gavin though. I'm pretty sure it'll be down to Leo and Gavin when he's born, if not before. And I think DH will let me have final say, if it's after I've given birth (how could he say no?).<br><br>
I'll come back in a few weeks to let everyone know! I'm glad for the input though. I don't want opinions from people IRL because I don't want to remember specific insults or opinions if we happen to pick a name someone we know isn't sure of. I notice (for the most part) people are a lot nicer if the baby is actually born. We'll see!

<p>I like Leo, and Wyatt and Sawyer. I dont overly care for Cash, but thats just me. I prefer Sterling. Also Hudson, Winston and Harrison. Both of our kids werent named till they were a week or so old. DH and I needed to meet them and take a little time to see what felt right.</p>
<p>Ryder is quite a popular name right now, I have always tended to not go with something popular (trendy). Friends of mine have soms named Fisher, and another friend has a son named Hunter, quite like those names. Good luck!!</p>
