I just got notified that I violated some rule because I messaged someone and a thread, to share how cheap and where I got a menstrual cup from. I'm afraid to say what cup or where now, because I was accused of affiliation w/ the company or whatever. All I was doing is sharing my excitement and passing it along, because I thought that was something everyone does for each other here..........sharing AND saving money in the process. I bought another cup from somewhere else at almost double, and would have liked to know ahead of time I could have almost gotten 2 for the price I paid for one. I just messaged the thread, and a user privately to give a heads up before anyone purchased anything for more when they can pay less. Can someone let me know what I did that was so wrong or violating? I'm so confused! I'm discouraged and feel like lurking now, and afraid to post after this!

It wouldn't surprise me if people thought I worked for Arm & Hammer, but I don't (I WISH!).

dont worry honey. I have been on here two years almost, have almost 2000 posts, and suddenly about a month ago i two or three separate reprimands in a row.

I dont know how Suddenly I began violating UA, but whatever!

it would probably be ok to reply in the pm from the mod, just letting her know you ARENT affiliated with the company, and just move on.

Thanks girls. I'm like the queen of sharing and info in person. I do nails for a living, and tell my clients about all kinds of health and beauty success I've had. I thought this site was a larger base for sharing, and am hoping it still is. I'm just a wife, mother, and health and beauty geek, trying to network w/ others and share my findings and joys! I'm all about natural products that work, saving money and time, and getting the best deals possible, and sharing every way I can. I even bought a 2nd cup (silicone version of Keeper, thinking it was Mooncup off Ebay) and let my sister in law try it out. I'm awaiting a Mooncup from the UK, and have only had one cycle w/ Diva so far. With everyone on budgets and frugalities, I was just trying to send a quick note to anyone who was considering a cup, and getting one at a great price I found online. I didn't even include a link! Anyway, thanks for the words of encouragement.

What was odd and brought complaint was that you also emailed the member who did not request the info from you. If she requested that someone send her such info privately that would be fine. But if you use the email or PM system here to send such info unsolicited, you will get complaints of spamming against you and we will contact you and alert you about that. Which is what I did.

Another rule you should be aware of that is stated in the UA:
