I have an 8 week old baby. I have IGT, so I use a Lact-Aid and supplement with formula. Yesterday and today my baby has all the sudden began srying/screaming at the breast. At first I thought that maybe she was just wanting the milk to come faster, but now I'm not sure. I was just watching her and she was swallowing every 2-4 sucks. Then I thought maybe suddenly a reflux problem (not knowing anything about reflux) but looking that up on the net that doesn't seem to be it either.

I am at a total loss as to what could be wrong. I really don't want her to associate the breast with stress. Does anyone have any other ideas??

TIA ladies!

I guess everyone else is as stumped as I am? I really could use some help.

Another thing she's been doing is popping on and off the breast. aThe more I read I think that she may have reflux. But I just don't know.

Could the tube be too long? DD does this same thing whenever I try to do it without the tape or the tape isn't tight enough. She sucks the tube too far back and it irritates the throat.
