Hi mamas!

I just got two big bottles of Dr. Bronner's liquid castile. One is almond, the other lavender.

Just don't know exactly what I should be doing with these, lol!
Please list your various Dr. Bronner's uses and recipes - anything from hand/dish soap to baby wash to cleaning solutions, etc. etc. etc.

Thanks!

You'll probably get a lot of ideas if you do a search on "Bronner's".

I use a tablespoon in each load of laundry. Yes, it's enough. I think our soft water helps make it work.

I mix it 1:4 or 1:5 with water (put water in first, then soap) in foamy bottles from www.kindheartedwomen.com and keep them at each sink.

I fill a quart sprayer bottle with warm water, then add a tsp. of Dr B's for all-purpose cleaner.

I add a squirt to hot water for scrubbing walls, floors, garbage cans, etc. Or I mix it with baking soda & a little water to clean the tub or get crayon off the walls.

I use it to wash my feet, in the summer when I'm barefoot all the time.

I use it in cold water to soak stained clothes.

DH uses it if we forget to pick up our bulk dishwashing detergent from the health food store, and run out.

I use the Baby Mild one for baby wash/shampoo or even shampoo for me.

Right now I am using the peppermint one for shampoo. I just squirt some in my hand and lather it up in my hair and then rinse. When I use up this bottle I want to try another scent.

I make foaming hand soap by filling a foaming soap pump up with water all th way except an inch or two and then fill that space with Dr. B's soap and then shake it well.

I use Dr. Bronners lots and lots of ways, but I am most impressed with the results I get from using it as a facial cleanser. It is so moisturizing to my dry/combination skin. I have been using it on and off for about ten years and I noticed that I always get compliments on my skin when I'm using it. So I have been using it "on" now for the past year or so. and it's so much cheaper than the expensive complexion products out there. I mean really there's no contest.
