My dd just informed that the fish (small guppy type, not salt water) have been out of food for four days. She forgot <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">: I looked at them and they are showing obvious signs starvation. What can I feed them to keep them alive one more day until I can get more fish food. Please respond asap, I feel horrible for them... and so does dd.

what veggies do you have? I think zucchini or lettuce might be okay...unless you have some mosquito larvae sitting around.. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
cut in teeny weeny pieces obviously or food processed

Moving to Pets... but first, I have to mention that guppies are fine without food for a week if they're babies, and for at least 2 weeks if they're adults. So they're nowhere near starving, and they'll be fine waiting until you get more food.<br><br>
