Hey mamas, I'm in desperate need of some good advice.

My period has returned, with a vengence. It's always been bad and being on the pill helped a lot, but the side effects from the pill were worse. Dh and I have gone the permanent route with birth control, so I'd really rather not be on anything. My second pp cycle was 42 days from the first one and it came on just as brutally as the first.

I saw my ob/gyn today and his recommendation is exactly what I expected. Rest, cut caffine and sugars, get lots of exercise. I have a 5 year old and a year old. I belong to a gym, but the baby HATES being out of my eyesight and ds is too small to ride his bike long enough for me to put her in the stroller and get any sort of workout. My dh works a lot so I can't really leave them home with him. Plus, then the baby screams when I'm gone.

I'm miserable. I'm mean. I don't mean grumpy, I mean screaming at the dog for breathing in the same room kind of mean. I have no patience at all, for anything. My period was last week and I'm still reeling from it all. I took two kids to the gyno today, at the baby's naptime and it was hellish. My doc is awesome, he's very natural minded and he knows how I feel about drugs and stuff. He recommended trying Serafim, if I don't feel better getting more exercise and cutting some stuff out of my diet. I cried all the way home from the dr, I'm just so stressed and I can't see an end.

Has anyone dealt with brutal pms or cycles that has any advice? Miracle cures? No, I'm not having another baby
I'm losing it....:cry

HOMEOPATHY!! It really helps but you really need to see a good constitutional homeopath, but Miranda Castro has some good books, remedies like Sepia, Pulsatilla, Chomomilla, Belladona, and more come to mind. Also flower remedies help too like Holly, Cherry Plum, Vine, Willow, Rescue Remedy it does help me anyhow. Rescue Remedy is great just to have on hand. Hope this helps.
