I really like my pocket dipes for my 15 month old daughter.... the AIOs we have are good, too, but they take forever to dry. Anyone have a great suggestion for a pocket dipe for a newborn? I'd love something w/velour inside, but fleece is ok, too. I'm interested if anyone knows how well the swaddlebees smalls work for a newborn? Also BG AIOs, but I still think I'd prefer a pocket dipe. My daughter was 8.5lbs when she was born so I'm expecting a pretty big baby (I think) this time, too. I guess my main concern on the newborn front is something that avoids the umbilical cord. Anyone out there use pockets on their newborn?

I used the SB pockets on dd when she was a nb and they worked very well for her, they don't have an umbilical cut out though so they do rub. I used prefolds/covers until her cord stump fell off. We also used Tiny Heiny's (xs HH) and those worked excellent as well but again, after the stump fell off.

GADs worked great for us and they have an umbilical dip. My DD was 7lbs 10oz and they fit her on the tightest setting. She has outgrown them now but she is over 11 lbs and we have moved to the mediums.
