my dd has done a GREAT job learning to potty in the toilet. Its the pooping she doesn't seem to get. How did you convince your tot that pooping in the potty was a good thing?

My 3 1/2 year old JUST started pooping on the potty all the time. What we did was set up a reward system for him (yeah yeah, flame away, I'm a briber!). He has a piece of paper by the potty with 10 squares. Each time he poops in the potty he gets a sticker. When he gets 10 stickers in a row he gets a treat (only rule is it cannot be food). If he has an accident in his diaper or undies he gets a sticker taken away. It's worked wonders for us.

I know of people who give a couple of smarties or M&M's each time their child goes potty....but I just cannot offer food as rewards. Stems back to my childhood, so I just can't.
