I can't believe I am asking a question about baby poop, you'd think I'd have it figured out by my 3rd baby!
I know it's normal for EBF babies to not poop on some days, I've even heard of some babies that go up to a week without pooping and that can be normal. My first 2 boys never, ever skipped even one day of pooping. DS3 (11 weeks old) has sometimes skipped a day in the last few weeks, but always made up for it the next day, lol.
This week, he didn't poop on Monday, but had a normal amount on Tuesday. Then Wednesday he just had one tiny poop, then nothing at all on Thursday and Friday. He finally pooped late this afternoon, and it was... weird. Very thick, like that thicker poo they get when they start solids. A little bit stinky too (and he's been doing stinky farts the last couple of days). The colour was pretty normal. Is this normal when they don't poop often?
He seems fine otherwise, eating and sleeping normally, doesn't seem uncomfortable, his bum isn't irritated, he seems happy (as usual).
It's just making me paranoid that maybe one of the other kids slipped him a bite of something??? I never leave them unsupervised together, but of course I don't have my eyes on him every single second, so I guess it's possible... I didn't see any "bits" in the poop though.
