We're contemplating a move to the area. I've lived in Olympia/Seattle area but not Oregon.

What do you love about your area -- what are good communities/areas to live in?

We're planning a trip out there in September to check things out -- what should we look at? How can we get to know the area?

Any advice/help is welcome!!!!!
