ok, this pg wasn't planned, but regardless, I don't want to go through anothrt m/c. I just had twins 5 1/2 mo ago and think I am about 5-6 weeks pg. I had some spotting so we did a us and hcg today. We saw a small sac, they only did a abd us, so we didn't see much and my hcg levels were 11,200. The spotting has stoped, I go back sun for a sec hcg and I hope that gives me some answers but just wondered if anyone had any ideas. I am thinking it is a blightened ovum, but I don't know why the hcg would be so high. The dr mentioned twins again, so I don't know if I migght be loosing 1 twin or something.

At 5-6 weeks you will not see much, if anything on an US. The HB won't show up until between 6 & 7 weeks & then it may be easier with a vaginal US instead of abdominal. Spotting can be normal in healthy pregnancy.
