This may or may not make any sense<br><br>
I have twin intact 7 month old foster babies. I have a bio daughter so knew nothing about penis care. I asked our ped at their first visit what I needed to do to it (I had read retracting it wasn't advised) & my ped said nothing - just leave it be it will take care of itself just make sure to clean it well if it happens to get a lot of poo on it or something. OK that's fine. Fast forward 4 months. It looks like baby V doesn't have any "hole" at the tip of his penis. Can the skin close up around it or does it just look like it. Should I take him to have it looked at? or just let it be?

I am sure it's there just cinched tight. It will open just a bit when he urinating; so if he is urinating ok then things are just fine. Don't worry intact boys are easy. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">

Thanks! I soooo don't know what to do when it comes to baby boy parts after 4 years of taking care of girl parts! I was just glad to see they weren't circ'd. He's still having wet diapers so it's still flowing - just didn't know if I needed to watch for anything!

My DS's peen does that too. It sometimes sticks to itself (especially when hot)!

Just wanted to say ditto, my ds' penis did the same thing. As long as he's peeing, he's good <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> And I'm glad you found a doctor that wasnt an idiot! So many people hear oh, you need to get them circ'd or oh, you need to retract and clean underneath...its refreshing when you hear of docs that arnt complete idiots <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

My ds's gets mashed together and looks like there is no hole but there is. Don't worry, if he had a problem peeing you would know it. Leave it alone and only wipe when poopy. Actually poop is easier to get off an uncirced boy than a circed boy.

Yeah - Our ped is pretty decent. Now if I could get him to not just tolerate no/selective vaxing but accept it we'd be all good! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">
