Today I am 1 week PP and my stomach has shrunk considerably but it still feels like jelly. When will it regain some muscle tone or am I doomed to look 4 months pregnant forever? AHH!

I'm about 9 weeks PP and things are starting to resemble what they used to look like, with a few changes. I'm striped for one thing. (all my strech marks were hidden on the underside of my belly. Grrr... I thought I escaped!)

Keep breastfeeding - it will help contract your uterus back to normal size.

I'm still about a size bigger on the bottom than I was pre-pregnancy, but it is balanced out by my newfound huge boobs. Just remember the mantra "9 months on, 9 months off".

Congrats on the new baby!

I'm 4.5 months PP, and still a little squishy in my stomach, but otherwise things are looking pretty good. Of course, my boobs are 3 inches lower than they were before.

I am 15 months PP today and just am starting to feel like myself again. So I think it is different for everyone. I put a lot of hard work into losing the last 20 baby pounds (walking, eating well etc), and did have some real frustration about the fact that it is so slow in coming off. In hindsight I would say give it time and most importantly be gentle with yourself

I fyou have stretch marks, it's a sign that your skin isn't very elastic and you will have loose skin forever. I'm one of those lucky types. But it just means I'm extra squishy and comfy. I usually wear maternity lothes for about 6 week PP and then wear a size or 2 bigger than I was before getting pregnant for another few months.

Well, I never got stretch marks on my belly but I did get some on my booty.

I got lucky, I thank bio-oil for that.

Yeah, all my pregnancy weight was lost within two weeks, but my body took about 4 months to put everything back where it was supposed to be. I remember not being able to get up off the couch without help for a long time!
