Hello Again,

Ok so now he's not biting at the moment, but he doesn't want to go near the breast at all, the pain is so bad. Is this norm, and how do I encourage him. Last night he screamed forever with teething pain. We tried everything we could think of. He wouldn't take to the breast but he took to an ice cold bottle with water, which is a first for him. Normally he wouldn't go near the thing.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried Hylands homeopathic teething tablets? I don't know anything about homeopathy except that these tablets worked for us (like a CHARM--we LOVE them). ALso, letting our daughter chew on a frozen washcloth (that I run under cold water after taking out of the freezer) helped. Hang in there--once that tooth pops through, everything gets better again! Maybe you can try feeding him before he's really hungry (like offer every half hour or so)?
