I had a D & C last week and the post operative instructions said I couldn't take a bath or have sex for 3 WEEKS. Is this standard? I didn't have any complications and stoped bleeding the next day. I could check my cervix to see if it's still dilated, does that matter? Even after I had my dd my mw said I could have sex when the bleeding stoped if I was ready. Anyone know? On top of all the stress it's killing me that I can't be with my husband when I want to. Do I have to wait the instructed 3 weeks?

mine said 2 weeks, but my OB said when the bleeding stops it's fine. You haven't had ANY bleeding, even brown spotting? I would call just to make sure, but I don't see why not.
