Today we are reelingi n the wake of a serious all-nighter with DS who puked from 10:30pm-5:00am. I am in the midst of laundry hell, but need to know if there's anything special I should do to sanitize it.

:puke I'm so sorry. That sounds awful.

I have not thought about it before, but i would probably just wash on the hottest cycle twice. STBX used to take the sheets outside and hose them off first, i thought that was
so unless there are alot of solids in there, i would just wash them and dry them on extra hot.

There was a post on Flylady a while back (years) about tummy bugs and having the kids afflicted sleep on a blow up mattress near the batheroom. I don't know how old your kidlet is though.

I agree to just make sure you wash in extra hot water, maybe a vinegar rinse (antibacterial).

I always have the kids sleep with a towel on their pillow when they're sick, so much easier to just throw a towel in the washer.
