Anyone know if there is a doc with experience in posterior tongue tie in the STL area? Not sure this is what we're dealing with, and not sure I would want to clip at this late date if we were but I would like to get DD evaluated by someone who knows their stuff.

We went to Dr. Sandra Highsmith, a dentist, when ds was a newborn to have the tongue tie taken care of. She was recommended by someone in the homebirth community here. Anyway, we were very happy with her. Don't know what would be done in the case of an older child, but it might be worth looking into. Good luck!

Dr. Highsmith did ds's tongue last year and I was pleased with her performance. She does take insurance, but we had to pay upfront and our insurance didn't cover it.
