Hi!

I am dealing with postpartum depression and am in the phoenix area. Just wondered if anyone else has gone through this around here and if they have any advice. I am also looking for a good naturopath or "natural" doctor here that has experience with this. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, I am really in need of some help and support.

Thank you!

Hey Girlie you are totally not alone! I just had my lovely little girl 10 weeks ago. I feel so differrent than before I feel like I am going crazy sometimes other times I am very happy loving life. What a struggle this is. I just sometimes have to look into the future to a less hectic time, like when shes 2 or 3 when she is so curios and I can answer all her questions and watch her grow into who she is going to be. This time is going to go by so fast I just want to be able to enjoy it. I am in the scottsdale area by the way and how old is your precios babe?

you are not alone.... my dd is 3 1/2 months now and I started having problems when she was 8weeks. I don't know of any naturopaths I can recommend. I, too, want to find an alternative way to deal with this apart from being medicated.
if anyone has any recommendations for an NMD/naturopath in the Tucson area who is experienced with dealing with depression I'd love to hear about it.

hang in there everyone; we're not alone. xo

Hey everyone,

thanks for the posts, I have a pretty severe case of postpartum and am on medication. It has helped in managing day to day but it makes me feel well "medicated." I am working on going to a natural docter, I will let you know when I find any out any info.
I had my daughter almost 3 months ago and let me tell you, it has been a LONG three months. Glad to know I am not going through it alone however. I do find that it helps a lot to get out!
I am in the Mesa area....so if anyone ever wants to get out let me know!
Mom in Tucson, I know that there are great support groups down there for PPD, I began talking to a therapist down there when mine was really bad. There are weekly support groups there, you are lucky, I have had no such luck here. I have thought about driving down for them actually.
If you want her number, let me know.
