DD is now 22 months and we started pretty gradually doing potty learning at about 17-18 months. We would spend an hour or two a day diaperless and eventually she started going on the potty. Last month we got to the point where if she was not wearing pants and there was a potty nearby, she would go over to the potty and go about 90% of the time on her own.

Then we introduced undies. She was unclear on the concept at first (and can't pull them down herself), but after a week or so, she got to the point where she would go over to a potty, sign "potty" and then would go when we pulled her pants down for her. Everything was going great!

The next step was out and about. She was still wearing diapers when we would go somewhere because she always pees in her undies when we weren't at home. But we were working on it and just taking a lot of panties and pants (and the Potette) with us wherever we went. But then, suddenly on Sunday (yay, my Mother's Day gift - ha!) she started just peeing wherever, whenever at home! She stopped going over to the potty, she would just pee. We had nearly all accidents all day Sunday and most on Monday.

I've heard of kids having a regression. Why is that? When will she go back to pottying like she was again? We've been pretty relaxed and low-key about the whole thing, nothing has changed that I'm aware of. Now, if she's pant-less, she will go over to the potty. We're just back to the stage where she pees in her undies/pants if she's wearing them.

Sorry so long, this wasn't meant to be a novel!

I have no idea, my 15mo DS tells me "pee" & "poop" and knows what the potty is for but screams if you try to sit him on it so we're nowhere near successful. But my first thought is, could she have a UTI or something?

I thought about that, except that she doesn't seem to have any other symptoms and if she it pantless, she will go every time. It's just when she's wearing panties (which is something we moved past a few weeks ago).
