I hope this is the right place for this.

Anyways, I've got 2 registries going... one for those who are comfy buying on-line and has mostly things I would prefer. And another for those who want to goto a brick and morter (target).

I figured for the target registry i'd put stuff I'd like for storage (bins) and older baby/kid stuff.

I'm looking at Potty Learning at the moment. What kind of Chair works best? I'm thinking about doing some EC too, so I'd like the chair be be able to fit many sizes.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

My son is potty training at the moment, although he is no longer using an ACTUAL potty as im trying to get him to pee standing up like a big boy (hes doing GREAT!)

Anyways, we have a winnie the pooh 3 in one chair. It comes with stickers to reward the child, and a chart. It has a pull down handle ( like a flusher ) that makes flushing noises and says GOOD JOB! and WAY TO GO!
It has a removable insert that can easily be taken out and dumped into the toilet and rinsed out in the sink.
The whole seat is removable and can be snapped down onto the seat of your toilet for when they are older but still need that smaller hole so they don't fall in.
The remaining section of the potty folds down and snaps into a stool so that they child can get up onto the toilet, or stand on it to pee ( like my ds is doing )..
They are about $35 CAD and you can find them at WALMART and likely TARGET...

You might not be able to a one potty fits all. We used the Bjorn little potty for early EC, but he started refusing it, so now were back in the game at age 2 and he prefers the bigger potty that we have. I think it's Fisher Price and has a drawer to empty the potty and the flip-down lid has little foot prints and is intended to be used as a step stool. He likes it. It was a hand-me-down for us, and it seems to be holding up just fine. HTH a little.

This is the one I have:
http://www.netkidswear.com/highchairpad.html

It's a matter of personal preference. I don't buy my kids toys that talk, so a potty chair that talks seems a bit odd to me. I try to keep potty training as simple and matter-of-fact as possible. With two of my three kids potty trained, I can say I've never used stickers or anything else like that.

The potty chair I linked to I especially like because, as you see in the first picture, it separates to be used as an adaptor for the adult seat and a step stool. This was invaluable when Linda decided she would only use the big potty.

My main criterion for a potty seat was that it be relatively simple for the child to get the potty insert out herself. Part of potty training for us is always that the child takes the insert over to the big potty, empties it out, & flushes it. As much as I can, I make things 100% the child's responsibility.

We also had a different adaptor from the same company that we carried around in a bag whereever we went, so as to make it easier for her to go when we were out & about. (We would always take her to the bathroom immediately upon arriving somewhere.) It wasn't too long before she decided to just climb up on the regular seat & balance herself, though; her sister did the same thing.
