i hope somebody can help me figure out what is going on.

my daughter is 17 months and nurses all the time. i got pp af back at 12 months. it was erratic at first and then seemed to level out a little to 29-32 day cycles. now, i'm on day 47 of my cycle or something ridiculous like that. i've had some very light spotting a couple times in that 47 days, but not any real flow. has anyone else experienced this? i'm thinking maybe it was a combination of stress and increased nursing?? i've tested negative for pregnancy about 8 times, so don't think that explains it.

don't mind not having a period, but my hormones are wacky! thanks!

I could've written your post a couple months ago. I had a 50 day or so cycle once. My toddler also nurses (day and night) like there's no tomorrow and I got my 1st pp af at 12 months, too. Negative hcg's and all for me, too. I just finally gave up caring and a few days later it came. This seemed to happen because ds had been waking a *little* less often than usual, then suddenly started waking 5-6 times a night to nurse at length again. Sometimes just a small shift can make a difference in the cycles. hth.

that totally puts my mind at ease. i have kinda just given up on worrying about it for the most part.
