A friend of mine has a crunchy grandmom who sent them several dozen birdseye flat folds (gerber) and they promptly handed them over to me being sposie people and not wanting to cd at all (I am trying to convience them). I dont really like the flat fold style and I was wondeing what is the best thing to do with them. Should I turn them into prefolds? if so how is that done? should I just make them into soakers or fitteds? My fitted dipe pattern calls for birdseye for the inner layers. I am really turned onto this whole PF dipeing I really like the idea of easy washing since my neightbor calls me the laundry slave already and the baby isnt even here yet. I hope I can train DH on how to use PF's. I think I will have fitteds or AIOs just for him when he is alone with baby to make things easier on him. Ooh they have a CD class in a few weeks put on by a local organic store and I cant wait to go, I am sure all these questions will be answered there but I cant wait I have until the end of june and I need to get my supply going this week or I will be waaaayy behind on the dipe stash.

Here's a link on how to make prefolds: http://www.sewdiapers.com/prefold.htm

Or, you could just use them as flats (I really do love flats) and learn a ton of fun folds! Lots of flat info can be found here: http://www.gumbush.com/
