I am already having pregnancy dreams. Last night I drempt that I was away from my new baby and frantically had to find my breastpump before my milk supply diminished. I finally was reunited to my baby and started breastfeeding. I woke up trying to breastfeed my blanket, LOL!!!

I guess that I am REALLY looking forwards to breastfeeding again!

One of the first signs that I was pregnant was the sudden onset of terrible dreams!

My dreams aren't very pregnancy themed yet, but they have become so much more vivid & detailed & weird! This morning I dreamt about going to buy an ice cream cone with DH. I remembered all the details & colors of all the ice creams so well, & I was soooooo grateful to DH for buying me the ice cream, I gushed & gushed in my dream how thankful I was for him buying me the purple ice cream. How dorky!!

Last night I had a dream about giving birth to this baby, and in my dream it went just as I planned, and also the baby turned out to be a boy (although the baby's gender doesn't matter to me). It was a very vivid dream.

I just woke up from a horrifying dream. In it my mother tried to suffocate my baby, and I had no control and could not save it. It's really disturbing.

Last night I had a dream about twin girls under the Christmas tree. I told my husband about it and he was a bit freaked out!

I've been having lots of very vivid dreams. The weirdest was the one in which a grey-haired guy came to my door trying to sell me the CCL Home Study Course for NFP (showed me the basal thermometer and everything) and was really trying to kidnap DS1. So I grabbed the guy by his hair and threw him out the door. Then I tried to call the police, but my phone wouldn't work, and Mr. Creepy Grey Hair kept smirking at me through our front door.

I woke up SO mad!!

i've been having disturbing dreams. makes me wonder how many scary movies i've seen to come up with this stuff lol like last night i dreamt my boys were at this like fbi camp for kids and i caught oneof the staff members (who looked liek the bad fbi guy turned good from prison break) doing very bad things with a little boy at the camp. i called him on it and he said he had to kill himself to make it right. so i'm all well good go ahead. and he couldnt bring himself to do it so he asked me to pull the trigger and just stage it as a suicide and i did it. i imagine its just a mama bear feeling protective thing. i think if it were a real life situation i'd just report the guy to the authorities but in the dream he just seemed like such a direct threat to my boys it was like ok sure i'll pull the trigger buh bye scummo! still woke up feeling VERY disturbed.

I'm going to bump this back up because I just had a new one.

Lastnight I dreamt that I went to get an ultrasound and I was laying there with Dh by my side and was about to tell the tech I didn't want to know the sex when suddenly there on the screen was a little baby boy, very obviously so. And I was like "shoot." But I also dreamt, after that dream, that we went to get an u/s and I DID tell the tech before she started that I didn't want to know the sex, dh does. So I covered my eyes and told her to tell me if there was a discreet shot I could see. Next thing I knew she walked over to dh, who was sitting right next to me, and whispers loud enough I could understand what she was saying and says "it's a girl." And I got really upset and said "I heard you! I told you I didn't want to know." and I was very disappointed that she said it so loud. And a little sad that it was a girl. It was kind of strange.

I've always been one to have very vivid dreams that alternate between boringly mundane or very bizarre, but always super vivid. And I have a tendency to dream the same dreams, sometimes even years later (either that, or I'm having very strange feelings of deja vu in the midst of the dream, which make me seem to remember having dreamed it before...not really sure which. I really ought to keep a dream journal.)

Anyway, for some reason, all my dreams while pregnant seem to be about my inlaws.

Haven't had any really great ones this time yet, but when i was pg with ds2, I dreamt that I was sitting on my MILs couch in her living room and I started giving birth. It was very clean (which I'm sure my MIL appreciated!) and very simple--no contractions, no pain, just a gentle little push. Anyway, I reached down and caught the baby (no cord, no placenta) and looked at it for just a second, then reached across the coffee table to hand it to MIL. And then reached down and caught ANOTHER baby! And ANOTHER! Three babies, all in a row, and just passed them over to MIL, who wrapped them in kitchen towels and laid them on the floor beside her, all in a row.

Pretty wacky....I think it was perhaps my mind's way of coping with my worry that baby was due so close to Christmas (he was due Jan 19, but I was sure he'd be early, and he came on the 6th), and we were spending the holiday with my ILS, five hours from home (and from the midwife!). The dream was sorta reassuring, in that I felt afterwards that everything would be fine with the birth and the baby, even if I were to go early, or not be at home, etc. Sort of a "Hey, you can do this just fine, even if the circumstances aren't perfect!"

I've been convinced I'm having a boy, but I've had a couple of baby girl dreams so I'm not so sure now. In the last one, I dreamed I was telling the baby girl about her daddy, how he was a pretty neat guy and she was in good hands between the two of us. But even though she was a tiny baby, we were talking like we were both adults. The main thing that sticks out is she had this big beautiful smile, and I was telling her how pretty it was.
I've also been having a ton of dreams, very nice at the time but disturbing in retrospect, about me and random local politicians hooking up.

I finally had a pregnancy related dream a couple nights ago. The details are foggy but the outline was that I was in labor without knowing it and then it came time to push and it was all so quick that I didn't get to fill and use the pool. This may have come from the fact that I've picked the pool and want to buy it now but am waiting for a few weeks (not like I don't have plenty of time left!) but for some reason I feel like I have to have it here now. It is my current obsession. At least I was at home in my dream.

It was almost a relief to have some kind of dream that acknowledges I'm pregnant, not sure why, but it was. Otherwise my dreams are in the same camp as Raspberry's, full of conflict, especially conflict with my ex, but also with random made up people.

I had a VERY disturbing dream a couple weeks ago. I dreamt that I had my dd and my newborn baby (a girl) and we were going on vacation with my family. All of the sudden (dreams are weird like this) My brother was like "It's been 2 weeks, doesn't your baby need to eat?" I had forgotten about my baby for 2 WEEKS. I ran in to the bassinette to get her and she was all skinny and lethargic and barely moving. It was horrible. I woke up then. I think I had that dream because of feeling guilty about my bad feelings toward the pregnancy in the beginning.

My dreams are always incredibly detailed during pregnancy and I can usually remember them, which is very strange for me. I often have, ummmm...., exciting (wink, wink) dreams, and wake up from them thinking DH and I had WAY too much fun.

Last night's dream was a doozy. I dreamt I was pregnant with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's child and when they named it Shiloh, I was so mad (no offense to anyone, I just knew a Shiloh in school that I did not get along with). Anybody tell I've been watching way too much E! channel

I have incredibly weird dreams when pregnant that are very vivid. But I'm lucky and some of them wind up with me (TMI) waking up having an orgasm. Actually I had those dreams two nights in a row (starring none other than David Boreanaz...one with his Irish accent from Buffy and one as Seely Booth from Bones, lol) and that's how I *knew* I was pregnant. Best pregnancy symptom EVER!
