So, I thought it would be fun to start a thread sharing our mistakes from previous pregnancies in hopes that we wont do them again and maybe someone else will learn from them.

Here were my two last time:

#1: I would crave a really unhealthy food, and try to find something to satisfy my craving. Id wind up eating 4x's as much this way.
Example:
I really wanted a piece of warm, buttery, apple pie.

I ate a piece of toast with smart balance, cane sugar, and cinnamon poured all over it.
I ate an apple dipped in peanut butter with cinnamon in it.
I ate a piece of a candy bar thinking that would get my junk food craving out of the way and I would just be able to move on.
I drove to the grocery store and bought a single apple pie (the really bad for you kind in the box), came home, melted a piece of butter over it , and ate it.

I shouldve just gotten the apple pie in the first place instead of eating the 600 calories trying to appease my craving. This was yesterday, by the way. I am vowing to give in to most cravings. I want an icee. The nearest one is 15 miles away. Im not driving that far for an icee, but I might wander around the house until I realize that there is something else I need from WalMart just so I can go get my Icee.

#2: I truly bought into the idea that with the Bradley Method childbirth wasnt going to hurt that much. You can breathe deeply and relax all you want to, and it will make it better. But at least this time I know, childbirth hurts like hell. When that first real contraction hit last time, I was all like "WTF, you ladies did not tell me it was going to hurt this bad."

Anyway, just wanted to share. If you have had other kids, what did you do in your pregnancies that you would advise against?
