So I thought it would be fun to discuss several aspects of our pregnancies in one thread. I came up with a few topics/questions:

How far along are you? 30 weeks this Tuesday

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? I've gained almost 40 pounds. I gained almost 50 with ds. With ds though I packed it all on toward the end of the pregnancy and this time has been the opposite.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? No I haven't. I did with ds but I can't remember when that happened...

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Reflux, fatigue, body aches, pubic pain, back pain.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? sex drive, feeling her kicks, my big belly full of my sweet baby

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? Being a good mother to both of my children. Ds had all of me for 3 years and I'm a bit sad that my dd will never know that. She'll have to share me from the start. Ds also has a mobility impairment and requires a lot of assistance so I worry about meeting his needs in that way while meeting all of her needs.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Having 2 children! Seeing them fall in love. Ds is so, so excited to meet her. He talks about it everyday! I'm excited to hold a newborn again, my newborn. To smell her and nurse her, to watch her develop into her own unique being!

about 11 pounds, I think. I gained about 40 with the first so I definitely am takin' it easy this time

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies?
Funny you ask I was just noticing it last week! I can see a faint line forming. I had one with the last too but I don't remember when it started showing.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now?
Well I can't sit forward or get comfortable in some chairs and I seem to be getting crankier by the day

And it's harder to get in and out of bed lately

What symptoms do you enjoy the most?
I really enjoy everything about being pregnant aside from the occasional uncomforts.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches?
I don't reflect on fears usually so this is a hard question for me to answer. There is a fear of complications at birth but that is because I sincerely hate hospitals and really don't want to have to go to one.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches?
I REALLY can't wait to meet this baby!! I am getting so anxious, especially because I don't know the sex. I want to hold and breastfeed an infant soooo bad -- it's been forever!

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Stiffness when I first get out of bed, pubic bone pain

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Babes moving

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? Sleep deprivation, extended family trying to help in ways that are not helpful, having energy for my 5 year old

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Nursing babes again, watching them grow and develop, seeing my dd with her new siblings, seeing my dh with a son

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? A little over 40 Ibs, yes this is the most I've gained.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? yes, I have it below and above my belly button now but my line is super light, the same in my other pregnancies.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Feeling too full after eating something small, walking, turning in bed has gotten hard.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Feeling the baby rolling around and having hiccups.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? That I won't have everything ready and my house will still be filthy.
What are you most excited about as the time approaches?
I am so excited about birthing this baby UC and of course just meeting , holding and nursing this little one!!

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? 24lb so far, may last babe was 20lbs and the 2 before that were about 45lbs

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? Nope, did with #1 but thats it.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Being sooooo tired. I feel like I get next to nothing done!! I know that I am super healthy so I am trying to respect my bodies wishes and lay down as much as possible, I guess its the 3 kids and end of pregnancy thats making me so sleepy!!!
That really full pelvis, stretched lower belly feeling after walking for a while which is always combined with BH, which are getting stronger.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Baby moving, vivid dreams (although they can be a bit odd and sometimes a bit to intense) Hightened intuition.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? That somehow I'll have a panic attack during labor and have a hard time getting back into the moment. This is always my fear, the fear of losing control of myself......but I've been learning to let go of the control freak inside of me and my mantra is ~ I am opening up in sweet surrender to the beautiful birthrite of this babe. I surrender, I am opening.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? That there is actually a baby in there!! To finally have the UC I've always wanted.To have all of my children a part of our birth. To give birth again. To conect with my sweet babe in that dreamlike, God-like state just after birth. To conect with my amazing husband in birth again, we tend to mesh into one being somehow...it is extasy.

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? So far I've gained 15 pounds. With my first pregnancy I gained 75+ and with my second I gained 50+.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? I have just a hint of it if you look hard enough. I got it pretty dark with my other two.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Tiredness

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? My appetite.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? How I'll deliver

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? I get to nurse another newborn.

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? Officially...only 14 lbs. I usually gain 25-30 lbs.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? Yup...got it with my first & it's never gone away.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Hip/pelvis pain

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Feeling the baby move. Having a huge belly.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? That I won't make it to 37 weeks. That my labour will follow the same pattern (PROM) which will screw me out of a homebirth AGAIN.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? I can't wait to meet this baby...see who she is...who she looks like...what her personality is like...dress her...nurse her...smell her...

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? 32 lbs. i gained a total of 65 with my singleton.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? I can't tell. My belly is so big and torpedo shaped now I would need to hold a mirror up to see under my belly button!

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Pubic bone pain, sciatica, hemmorhoids, intermittent heartburn, GD, and the contractions I get if I lift a finger to do ANYTHING productive. Oh yeah, now my tendonitis is back and I am in a wrist splint.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Feeling the babie move like crazy. Having a HUGE belly.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? That I won't make it to 37 weeks, and that I will not be able to have a vaginal birth. That we will have feeding problems and I won't get the hang of tandem nursing.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? I can't wait to meet these boys! I can't wait to see the 2 of them together and hold them. I can't wait for my DD to meet her brothers, and for DH to hold his boys for the first time (I still get teary when I look at the picture of him holding DD at the birth). And I REALLY want to know if they are identical or not.

How far along are you? 28 weeks, 3 days ... technically due Nov. 2 but I visit both the October and November DDCs

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? I think about 15 or 20 lbs? I didn't weigh myself pre-pregnancy, but that's what I look/feel like I've gained, including baby.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? No linea negra.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? The popping hips, and the little short hairs on my belly are not so short anymore.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? My hair looks great! (The hair on my head, anyway...)

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? I'm really stressing about having control over my birth, as we're having a hospital birth. But my mother and I can be real b**ches when the situation calls for it, any my uncle is a lawyer...

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Getting to meet her and hold her in my arms.

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? I think about 25 so far. This is my 2nd pg and I think I'll be at about 35 by the end like last time.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? I got one with my last pg (which disappeared) and I think I see a very faint one coming right now.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Peeing all the time and I feel like I'm waddling.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Feeling the baby (as long as it doesn't hurt!!

What are some of your fears as the time approaches? He's transverse right now and I'm afraid he won't turn.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Mostly just to see the little guy. But also to face the challenge of giving birth and trying to do so more efficiently than last time (I was really tired from a long labor and did not walk as much as I should have and try to get going on my own - ended up with pitocin and an epidural).

How much weight have you gained so far?4 lbs! If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? This is so much less weight then my last two. I was an eating fool last time. I gained about 35 lbs, and I am overweight to begin with.

Have you gotten a linea negra? Yes, and it had *just* disappeared from the last time. If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? Yup!

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? The doggone heartburn. I really think it is acid reflux though, and it sucks.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Feeling the baby move, and feeling like an earth mother, KWIM?

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? Can I really handle 3 kids and being a teacher to 25 2nd graders.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Holding my lil' girl!

I'm new here, and this is the first time I've posted in the DDC, but hi anyhow!

How far along are you? 32 weeks

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies?+1, finally; this is WAY less weight than I gained with my son

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies?nope and I didn't get one with my son either

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now?it was leg cramps, but I've been taking liquid cal-mag and that's pretty much gone away, which is nice

What symptoms do you enjoy the most?definitely the movement, especially when it shocks my husband or our son

What are some of you fears as the time approaches?this is my first UC, and I'm just hoping we can stay UC and I don't let others push us away from our plans

What are you most excited about as the time approaches?having my first UC, seeing the baby, finding out its gender, naming it, and being able to present our newest little one

How much weight have you gained so far? If this isn't your first, is this more or less than previous pregnancies? about 20 lbs. With the twins, I gained 50.

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? it's barely starting around the belly button. With the twins, it was this nice dark sexy long line.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? major gassiness. but maybe that's due to the kidney stone that's inoperable until after the baby is born? or the kidney stent ? or the cerclage? ugh. Sciatica. Peeing every 2-3 hours at night with no good relief (kidney stone again...)

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Feeling and watching my belly move. Watching the girls feel my belly - they love how big it is. and I love that they love it.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? That I'll cave in during labor and accept meds.... hoping for an unmedicated birth (and no c this time!) Don't have anything for him yet... no furniture, lamp for the room, car seat... but there's time... and how much do they need anyways!

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Actually meeting the little guy. Can't wait to be a mama to a newborn again. Then, looking forward to getting rid of this kidney stone and being able to run around play with babe and my 4 year old girls again. Also excited to have the girls see the baby 'having mama'... they remember nursing, and it will be cool for them to see it in action again.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? (nothing really well maybe having to get up in the middle of the night to pee)

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? (I Love being pregnant)

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? (him not sure if they are fears however being able to nap with 2 kids, having to wake up in the middle of the night again)

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? (Seeing Kai's eyes light up when the baby is born and watching them bond. he is soo excited and already takes clothes out and sets them out on the dresser, he pretends to take him out of my stomach and brings him to the store with DH and him. DH says he pretends to carry a baby the ENTIRE time, he opens the passenger door and pretends to put him in the seat belt.. Kai is determined to NOT have the baby poop in the diaper he said he will teach him right away that he can poop in his toilet.. MInd you this is all from a 34 month old HAHAHAHAH

Have you gotten a linea negra? If this isn't your first, did you get one in previous pregnancies? you know, just this morning i was looking in the mirror and thought i saw a very faint start of one below my belly button.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? the lower back pain bothers me some and flip flopping all night long in bed drives me crazy! oh, and the occasional emotional outburts out of nowhere.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? i have mainly enjoyed how much i have enjoyed being pregnant because i thought it would hate it. feeling the baby move is pure bliss!! and, i've had a wonderfully grounded, earthy feeling to my being since i've been pregnant.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? i fear that i will have complications during labor. also, i'm worried about my work situation after the baby is here.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? becoming a mother, meeting my little man outside the womb and covering him with kisses!! seeing what he looks like and beginning to get to know his personality. i can't wait to see my dh with his son because i know he is going to be a great father!!

It hurts to roll over in bed, other then that, I'm feeling wonderful. I see my chiro every 2 weeks, she takes care of anything that hurts me.

That I'll have another coicky, allergic, screaming, high-needs baby who never sleeps.

Nope! Didn't get one with my dd either.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? Itchy belly, massively large belly, and bum hip/pubic bone. I actually used the electronic wheelchair in the grocery store last night because I couldn't walk.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? Movement.

I LOVE watching my belly. It's the coolest thing I have ever seen. It's like having an alien in there because the movement is constant, very visable, and all over, all the time.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? Lung maturity. Having 3 brand new babies all at once learning how to breastfeed.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Having 3 babies to hold and snuggle and love. Showing my daughter her brand new siblings.

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now? breathing.. although it's been getting better and contractions. some sayd they are liek BH others they are painful, but I'm not worried, they are just annoying.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most? the baby moving

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? that i'll end up with a c-section. (worst fear in teh world!!) ending up induced again.... really hoping to avoid that.... and that my DD will be upset that this new baby is here (she'll be jsut over 2 when the baby arrives)

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? holding the little cherub!! and having the kids meet him

What symptoms are bothering you the most right now?Heartburn, lower back pain and hip pain, not being able to move around as well. I forget how far along I am and I need to slow down but don't want to.

What symptoms do you enjoy the most?Feeling baby move, watching DS when he feels his brother move and asks about him.

What are some of you fears as the time approaches? Totally unprepared. We don't even know where we're going to be living in a month (long story) so I'm feeling very NOT ready for this baby. I hope he doesn't come early.

What are you most excited about as the time approaches? Finally meeting the little guy. Seeing my son with his brother, and DH with two boys. Nursing again, and cuddling a little one.
