So, I'm six and a half weeks pregnant after my section 16 months ago. My scar is super itchy and "twingy", and I'm really crampy.

Is this normal? How long does it last? I'm assuming it's the scar tissue trying to stretch, but it's soooo uncomfortable.

And the back pain from my epidural is still there, so that's just adding to my fun.

Oh you poor thing :crying:
I got pregnant with twins 12 months after my c-section. Itchy but all went fine :) And then I had another c-section on top of the other... Guess it's just the way it is :) Hope you have a good and healthy pregnancy!

Those can be adhesions. There is self massage you can do to work on it. The best thing, if you can afford it and have one locally, is to go for a Mayan Abdominal Massage session. Ideally it's better to go before pregnancy, but it would still be worth checking with a practitioner.

I can't do it myself, it's really painful to mess with my scar. I could probably grit my teeth through someone else doing it though. I'll look into that massage, thanks.
