I wish I could just find some motivation while my boyfriend is at work all day. I feel terrible when he comes home to find me still in my pajamas with the house still a mess. I want to get up and finish unpacking all of our things in our new apartment and clean up, but I have lost my ambition for even getting showered in the morning. Is this normal for being 27 weeks pregnant?

I guess I just need some support or reassurance.

Have you had your iron levels checked? Low iron could cause fatigue like you're describing.

For me, after the first trimester, my energy levels are pretty good. I've been "nesting" hardcore for the last couple weeks, something I didn't experience with my twins.

I am feeling the same way & I was wondering about my iron level. If this keeps going it's gonna be a looong third trimester.

eta: Some support! I'm sorry you're feeling this way, you aren't alone.

I'll look into getting my iron level checked. I have been experiencing some nesting signs as well by wanting to start getting the baby's room put together but my boyfriend suggested to wait until after the baby shower to buy anything. It's the logical thing to do, but I'm getting anxious! Hopefully I can find some more energy soon!

Thanks for the much needed support.

I've been feeling the same way. I think it's both low iron and the fact that I just can't seem to get a really good nights sleep. Between my sore hips and back and having to get up every other hour to pee, I'm definitely feeling the fatigue.

I've been feeling a bit sluggish, but having to go to work, and DD insisting we get out of the house, have helped immensely.

I've been there lately too. I get the bare minimum done, but not much else. It's been better since I started taking Floradix - I'm pretty sure my iron levels were low. It'll be interesting to see if they were when I get blood work done in a week or two.

I'm going through stages. Yesterday I was all movitvated to get things done while DH was off work. Then once those few things I needed DH for were done (moving furniture and hanging pics-I'm so short I'd need a step stool so its just easier for him to do it!) and I sat down....forget about it! I had no further motivation until 7:30pm when suddenly I wanted nothing more than to clean our room! lol Two kids and pregnant is draining me of energy and sometimes, I just get the bare essentials done.
