is there anyone else out there who just needs to get laid!?
i am 33 weeks and my husband and i havent done it since i was like 12 weeks! I had some unexplainable minor (very very minor) spotting once or twice in the 2nd trimester so my midwife suggested not having intercourse....and then 6 more weeks postpartum?! i am dying! I know most pregnant women want nothing to do with sex, but i need some!

Yeah it's sooo difficult. I've been on pelvic rest for the past 8 weeks now and I'm going insane! Doctor said I could start doing things again if the bleeding stays away for 4 weeks. So far it's been gone 12 days...ugh. Don't know if I can really wait that much longer!

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow, and am almost to the point of BEGGING Sweetie to make it happen...

I've even been resorting to the guilt trip comments like.."I never turned YOU down before.." lol

I told him today that I'm tired of doing it myself, and that he has 6 weeks or less to get on it, or else he'll be waiting a loooooong time after....Both because I'll need to heal after giving birth, and maybe I'll hold out even longer just out of spite.

OH YES....when I was pg with DD I wanted it all. the. time. DH was totally freaked out about DTD, so we never really did. It sucked.

This time is totally different he just doesn't care, he's like a different guy, but I guess he is because now he's a father and things are just different. It was rather embarrassing the other day when he told our male friends the other day that pregnant women are the horniest ever

(our friend's GF is pg and he was wondering if he could do it). I guess though he got what he deserved because after DD was born I had like zero interest in sex and he was back in the mood. It's hard to feel sexy with spit up and your boobs leaking milk

...makes poor DP feel inadequate, as I'm never satisfied. He jokes/complains that as soon as he's back from the bathroom after dtd, I'm already coming on to him again.

My libido actually isn't very much higher than my non-pregnant baseline. Pregnancy just adds a sense of urgency and sensitivity about it. If he is too tired, I cry.

Two things to say about this:

1.) If intercourse is out, is oral/manual? If orgasm isn't the issue, I'd find other ways to get there.

2.) My DP is in Iraq... I haven't been intimate since the conception! And I won't get more until at least October! War is hell, my friends, war is hell

At 33 weeks pregnant, if your cervix is still fine and long, I would just have sex. Frankly, no one else would have put you on permanent no sex over spotting. 50% of all pregnancies spot. I think you shojuld go have sex..you will love it! If you think you are "in the mood" now..wait until you see what the actual sex is like!

that's totally normal! I would be crying if I had to wait that long!!! I was on pelvic rest for a while and it was torture!
