Yep.

1st pregnancy, singleton, contractions, pressure, early cervical changes, but made it to term (scheduled section at 39w for breech).

2nd pregnancy, twins, contractions, tons of pressure, lots of early cervical changes (1.5cm dilated/80% effaced with baby A at 0+ station at 28w0d), complete bedrest, delivered at 33w, spontaneous labor immediately following p-prom.

3rd pregnancy, singleton, delivered at 39w0d, lots of contractions but no pressure (possibly due to short cord); no early cervical changes (early = prior to 30-something weeks).

4th pregnancy, singleton, 38w0d, no early cervical changes, pressure but few contractions until around 31 weeks or so.

5th pregnancy, singleton, 26w and counting - no problems yet - knock on wood!!!

In my case, I tend to have a slightly weak-ish cervix and the biggest problem is when I have a combination of contractions and lots of pressure simultaneously. Not that my singleton pregnancies haven't had their scary moments, but it's been nothing compared to the twin pregnancy.

Good luck!

We're done here, but my friend had 31 or 32-week twin girls 2 years ago, and her son was born just a few weeks ago, FT.

I also have a friend whose singleton daughter was a 33-weeker, then she had PTL at 27 weeks in her current pregnancy. She went on terbutaline and came off it at 36 weeks, expecting baby right away. She's hanging out at 40 weeks 4 days right now.

My twins were born at 34w2d. My third child was 40w exactly, and my fourth child was 41w.

I shudder to think if I ever have a fifth! I'd probably go past 42!

I am a twin we were born at 33 weeks, my brothers were twins and born at 34 weeks.

Then my mom went on to have 2 more singeltons both at 38 and 39 weeks.

I guess it is a good thing that twins tend to have earlier lung development than singletons.

this is all nice for me to read as I'm now 18 weeks pregnant with a singleton and hoping to go past the 34 weeks I did with my twins
