Just wondered if anyone has tried this for pockets or covers. They sell it at wazoodle diapershop. It says on the site that it can be used to make diapers, but I was reluctant to order any without asking around first.
I haven't ever used this, but I'm wondering if it has that same slippery/sticky problem when sewing? The Wazoodle website says the waterproofing is extruded through the knit rather than laminated to it, so I assume this means the whole fabric is waterproof rather than just the coated side like in PUL?
Procare is a bit stiffer than PUL. PUL has a bit of give and stretch while Procare doesn't. That isn't to say it shouldn't be used for diapers but it is different.
I've used it, it's thicker then pul, and much easier to sew with imo. I've had no problems with it. Sews great, works great. It does make the cover a bit thicker and stiffer until it's been washed a few times. I like it a lot!
I have a bunch of Procare. I have used it for diapers/pockets, and it's GREAT. Much easier to work with, and much more waterproof. The downsides are that it's ugly and it doesn't breathe at all.

Pretty much! It does wash up pretty soft though. Use the fabric side out for covers and pockets. It also makes great wetbags!
