<p>I left work early yesterday because when I wiped I noticed there was blood on the toilet paper. I immediately called my OB's office, which told me to report to the ER. (I won't even go into details about my visit overall, but it was the worst ER experience I've ever had and the NP reduced me to tears.) They did an ultrasound during which time the tech turned the monitor so I could see at the end and I saw the baby. It looked like a snowman!</p>

<p>Anyways, after everything was done, the NP told me I had a chloreatric (sp) bleed most likely related to progesterone. They drew blood and I will be finding out my progesterone levels from the OB this morning.</p>

<p>Has anyone ever gone through this? I can't find any information on it other than miscarriage, but my hcg levels are good and the OB doesn't seem concerned, even though she will probably want me to start the progesterone shots again on top of the oral progesterone. The baby is actually measuring ahead now. So, I'm trying to be optimistic.</p>

<p>I don't know too much about it, but maybe it's a subchorionic hemorrhage?  If so, my understanding is that they are pretty common, and do increase your chance of miscarriage, but not by a whole lot.</p>

<p>I asked the NP that and she said no, they were unrelated. I had a SCH with DD2 and carried her until the day of my scheduled c-section with no problems.</p>

<p>The hospital tested my blood last night for the wrong labs, so all those sticks were for nothing in the end. My OB's office is livid. So, I went to the OB during my lunch break and had the blood draw and progesterone shots. My progesterone isn't high enough that it would hurt anything without knowing the number and will most likely keep any bleeding away.</p>

<p>I'm sorry the ER was so awful.  I don't have any advice, but as another mom on progesterone, I feel for you.  I hope the labs work out, and the bleeding stops, and you have the most boring pregnancy ever.</p>
