After playgroup this morning, we came home & dragged a bunch of junk from our house's previous owners to the curb & put up 'free' signs. At least half of it's gone (and whatever is still there by tomorrow night will get thrown out).

I went through my closet & ended up with 2 bags of clothes. Brought them to Salvation Army along with another bag of odds & ends.

DH cleaned, vacuumed, etc. & we organized both sheds & I gave our outdoor furniture a good scrub.

We moved the stroller & DS's bike to the shed (they were in our dining room).

I put all the mail & bills in the desks drawers (to be sorted through later)... I can finally see the tabletop & the desktop!!

We have a long way to go but we're finally getting this house under control!!! I've been lurking here a lot, thanks for all the inspiration!

Our town had junk day, and while I didn't have a lot of it the previous owners had left broken appliances along with 2 of our own that called it quits so they all are gone wahoo!

I got the junk out of the basement and then spent the morning cleaning up my backyard. It looks so nice!

Way to go on your progress, you got a ton done for 1 day! It is so refreshing isn't it!

I finally cleaned out kitchen cupboards and it is soooo nice! I realized the kids probably can't use more than 4 plates at a time so I didn't need more than that. Same with kids bowls. Also got rid of a bunch of serving type dishes, even sold some on craigslist. When did I think I was going to have a get together where I needed 10 or more serving dishes??

Today I'm planning on keeping up with the laundry and cleaning under bathroom sinks. We'll see how that goes....
