Suddenly, dd won't eat eggs or nut butters. She's allergic to dairy. We give her blueberries and goat yogurt for a snack before bed. She won't touch goat's cheese. Lunch and dinner is no problem for protein. Oh yes, and we don't eat much for meat. Organic chicken or wild fish once in a while. I got some org chicken sausages for breakfast tomorrow. HELP! This is always such an awesome place to get good recipe ideas and parenting ideas in general.

I wonder if she would like some Ezekiel bread, maybe toasted with some jam or honey on it? You would have to check the ingredients just to make sure that everything in it is something safe for your dd. It is pretty high in protein! We like the cinnamon-raisin kind.

Also, if your dd can have eggs, but just doesn't want to eat them plain, you could make french toast, popovers, or muffins!

Hope this helps, and that you get lots of good suggestions here! :)

French toast is a good way to sneak in eggs, we make it with sproute grain bread and put organic butter on it and I loove it. Sometimes we just cook fish for breakfast, but haven't in a while - I should.

will she eat oatmeal? (6 grams of protein)

also what about a bean and tofu scramble with salsa wrapped in a tortilla?

and if you eat tofu, you could make a fruit "dip" too or make a smoothie

We do french toast. Yes, it seems tp be the only way I can sneak it in. I will look into Ezekiel, thank you. She can't do wheat but sprouted is okay. She can't do soy either. Sorry. Not trying to make this difficult.

My DD and I have been eating beans (adzuki) mixed with ghee and a little bit of beef for breakfast. She's intolerant to dairy, eggs, coconut, wheat, and nuts, so that leaves out a lot of traditional breakfasts for us! You might be able to wrap a bean mixture up in a sprouted corn tortilla or something if that would make it more palatable to her.

I eat high protein, and I usually do not eat "breakfasty" type foods. You said that luch & supper aren't a problem - maybe try some of those foods @ breakfast time. (I had black bean salad for breakfast today)
