<p>I really need some ideas for healthy snacks that are high in protein.  The more simple the better.</p>
<p>My current favorite is a handful of almonds.  Besides meats and eggs, which just aren't that appealing to me right now, what other high protein foods could make good snacks?</p>

<p>how about humus? you can make it a day before for a quick snack the next day or even two days.</p>

<p>almond butter with a nice whole wheat toast</p>
<p> </p>
<p>peanut butter and apple</p>

<p>- a bowl of salted edamame?</p>
<p>- cheese and crackers, or snack cheese like cheese curds?</p>
<p>- roasted chick peas?</p>

<p>raw sprouted beans. like moong beans with some chopped onions and lemon juice. however i just eat them raw like a snack.</p>
