with this nasty nasty m/si haven't been able to eat much meat and i have been worrying i haven't been getting enough protein.<br><br>
my favourite food du jour is edamame. high in protein, high in fibre, and tasty as anything. especially if you get the frozen variety and steam them and then put some coarse salt on them.<br><br>
also, they are a good size.. suck the little beans out of the pods and they are not too big that i want to spit them out.<br><br>
yumyum!<br><br>
just thought someone else out there might want some extra protein that is delicious..

I'm with you, though even edamame makes my tummy churn. I'm addicted to almond butter, but our midwife also suggested that I take spirulina supplements--high in protein and other good vit/minerals. By luck I seem to be able to keep it down along with my one prenatal if I do it before bed with a minimum of water.
