Went to pick up Ds at daycare this afternoon, and his support worker was totally excited. She was talking so fast about more than one subject that I had to get her to take a deep breath and start the conversation over again

Apparantly my son was in the bathroom getting his diaper changed with one of the regular staff and spoke a word, "puppy" She was pointing at a picture on the wall (of puppies of course) and he actually said the word. Everyone was so surprised that they all just stopped and kind of stared for a minute

If that wasnt enough excitement for me (and really I was having a proud mama moment over that) he shocked the heck out of his support worker when she was reading a story to him. She pretended to grab some grapes out of a book and started to eat them while making the sound "mmmmm." Guess what he did........yep he actually copied her and put his fingers to his
mouth and made the chewing motion with the "mmmmmmmm" sound.

The best day ever mamas!!
