Did anyone see this? It's the MSNBC show hosted by Ron Reagan and... a blonde woman, can't remember her name.

Interetingly enough, it was Ron Reagan who thought BFIP was no big deal at all, it's just a baby eating lunch. It was the female host who thought it was an "intimate" act that should be kept "sacred" and done in a "private" place like the bathroom. They had one guest who advocated for each side. The woman who was anti-NIP said that you don't conceive a child in public, you shouldn't BFIP.

The female host kept discussing other people's rights not to see a woman's breasts -- she said that she had the right to go to a restaurant and not see women BFIP. To which Ron Reagan responded, "That's like saying I have the right to go to a restaurant and not see an ugly person."

I have never cared for Ron Reagan until now!

DH said he only caught the end of the segment and was impressed by Ron Regan's 100% support of the Nurse-In.

Right! So then if I am offended by a gangbanger walking around with his jeans to his knees and his underwear hanging out I don't need to see that either right? Or the obnoxious guy on his cell phone next to me on the bus swearing. I don't have to listen to that right? Or hey how about the 12 year old with daisy duke sweat shorts that say "juicy" on the butt. That is offensive to me.

People seem to forget much more offensive things than NIP.
Yeah, what about my right not to hear stupid people yammer on in public? That woman should throw a blanket over her head.
Sacred? What the heck is sacred about a public toilet?Sitting in a nasty janky stall is more sacred than a nice comfy chair in a well lit room where you can people watch or enjoy fresh air, eh? I think she should go sit in a stall for awhile.

Thats like th ecomment the guy made about NIP being like peeing in a jar in the middle of a mall. I told dh-Um, people eat in the mall.....and I really don't see how it is like peeing, or should be done where people pee

Yep, dh commented yesterday on how it's ok here in America to go around dressed practically naked, pretty much baring your breasts for intent sexual purposes, but not ok for using them for what they were intended for?(gotta love him!

You see a helluva lot more walking past the Giselle display at Victoria's Secret than you do with NIP. People seem to think that nursing moms parade around topless or something.

My DH caught part of it, too. He said Ron Reagan was great putting "the old biddy against BF in public" (those are DH's words) in her place.

This lady sounds so totally confused!!!! Sacred and toilet
. Intimate she says???? Bfing is as intimate as kissing in public. And then yes, as was said: the victorias secret propaganda is like ,uhhhhh ,pretty dang intimate when it's about 5x life size and your walking through the mall , perhaps? I dont know. It's not like the models are just standing there smiling in their bikinis and push-ups! -their "come hither" eyes and pouty lips and hair blowing behind them, sprawling across furniture and chairs
. NOOOOO THATS not intimate

no-wonder so very few women continue to bf or even start with so-called professional women with messed up views like That out there.
