I like nylon pull-on covers a whole lot because they are cheap, easy to fit, and smush under clothing, but dh hates them and won't consider them. What are some alternatives?

I'm with your dh, I think nylon pull-up covers are a bit grody.<br><br>
ETA: I'm thinking specifically of the gerber ones, there might be much nicer ones out there that I don't know much about.

I really like my bummis whisper pants. So trim and easy!<br><br>
A compromise might be a pull-on snap cover. Like the Re-Uz'm or Stacinator So Simple. You can see both here: <a href="http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/covers.htm" target="_blank">http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/covers.htm</a> they are about half-way down the page.<br><br>
I have both and they are still really trim, but you have the choice to either pull them on & off or snap them...<br><br>

ETA: You can find both of these fairly inexpensively on the TP.

It's not the pull-on my dh objects to, it's the nylon. He says it's like wrapping your kid in a garbage bag. Both of us like the ME AF covers by far better than any others, but I wish it were possible to find cheap pull-on covers made of PUL to use as backup.

Pull-on-snap-off Alexis Featherlites (you can still get 'em on e-bay, even though they've been discontinued)<br>
Bumkins wraps<br>
MotherEase Airflow covers (still thin, tougher than coated nylon, fits better)

I like the Alexis Featherlites, too. They are nylon but they are much, much nicer the Gerber (which I think are actually vinyl - I just got some and don't like them either). We also use a Prorap side-snap as a pull-on (although they are much more expensive new). We just keep it snapped all the time.

We love LittleBums.com fleece pull on covers! So soft (non-garbage baggy.. lol) and reversible so you get a "two-fer" in colors.<br><br>
Not sure if she has any instock, but she's always been really quick on customs for us!!<br><br><a href="http://littlebums.com/" target="_blank">http://littlebums.com/</a>

Oh wow, I like those, Steph! They are so pretty. And it says she makes them out of PUL, too, so I will definitely keep her in mind for that as well! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

I agree with you! I love my EFB p/o covers because they are so soft and they are cheap, cheap. Alexis Featherlights are an option because they are side-snapping but still soft. I know Orange Starfish had some on there site. Zippidy has a side snapping cover, but I can't remember if it is nylon or vinyl.<br><br>

I have made some organic wool pull on covers and I thought that they were really nice. I like the side snap personally, because the pull on are a little bulky. You could make a pul on out of anything you like. I am sure someone is doing it.

I don't think so. The whisper pants are made of nylon. I'm not sure what the cotton print ones are made of, but I've heard they leak, and they're kind of expensive for being leaky! Do you know of one that I'm not thinking of?
