I'm wondering if anyone here is/has been a pumping WOHM? I work about 6-7 hrs/day and, at 13 mo. postpartum, I'm just pumping once in that period.
The thing is that I'm down to pumping only, like, 2 oz. of milk when I pump at work. I'm sort of tempted to drop the pumping altogether, but I'm worried about the implications for DS2. I'm worried this will lead to premature weaning.
I nursed my first son until he was 2 1/2 and I have every intention of nursing *at least* that long with this baby. However, I was barely working in DS1's first couple years and I didn't have to pump at all--this is uncharted territory for me.
I would appreciate any perspective/advice... (BTW, I co-sleep w/ DS2 and he nurses a considerable amount at night--a related question is whether dropping the pumping will inevitably lead to more night-nursing...)
