My oldest DD got two Catahoula puppies for her birthday. I don't really like puppies and knew this was a bad idea. Grrrrr. Give me an adult dog any day.

Freakin little #$%*#&$^ ripped three of my diapers off the line the other day. I had to throw away two doodlebottoms, but my buckeye survived. I thought it was a one time thing because they have been in the yard with my diapers for weeks without a problem. Two more diaper days passed with me watching like a hawk and no problems. Today I watched a little less(can't spend hours looking out the window every other day!) and the little #^$&#^#&$^$s did it again. I can't even bear to asses the damage. I picked up some FBs, a buckeye AIO, and some hemp doublers off the ground. As I was taking the others off the line(not dry yet) I noticed holes ripped in some of my pocket stuffers. I threw them all in the dryer to finish drying and went and cried in the bathroom. They are still in the dryer. I just can't go look.

I want to get rid of those evil little $#@*$ so much but I know that I can't. I am not a materialistic person. I don't get attached to "things", but my diapers make me so happy. I love washing them and hanging them to dry in the sun. I love sitting in the backyard while they flap in the breeze. Why does this have to get ruined for me. I'm a SAHM mom, there isn't a lot going on in my life that is all for me. I'm feeling so sorry for myself.

Thanks for listening. Can someone come hold my hand while I sort throught the diapers in the dryer tomorrow? I know you guys will understand.

for you. I would pick my diapers over dogs anyday. Man if something happened to "my" diapers I would be crushed so I understand. Other then my son , diapers are my life right now (oh how pathetic that sounds) What size were the doodlebottoms? I *might* be able to replace one for you.

I'm so sorry. We have three (adult) dogs and they love to steal things and bury them in the yard...mostly Liam's blankets, but sometimes clothes too. I'm always worried they'll steal his dipes and eat them. I have to keep the dogs in the house when I dry the dipes outside--I'm way too scared of what might happen if I gave them free reign.

My fingers are crossed for you that there wasn't much damage to the dipes. I'm really sorry.

DH feels really bad since he talked me into the puppies in the first place. He promised to put up a bad puppies holding pen tomorrow. I have a white picket fence that I got from my great grandmother's house when they tore it down. I was going to use it to edge my herb garden, but I guess it will hold puppies during drying time until DD is out of diapers.

MissSugarKane that is really sweet of you, but we had four so I am ok with losing two(at least they didn't eat the fairy print). Thanks so much for offering though, and it really does make me feel better to know that y'all can commiserate and not think I have a screw loose for being so obsessed with *my* daipers.

I still have not gotten the diapers out of the dryer yet...
