I don't know about the bags that you're talking about but for my husbands lunch we use unbleached waxed paper bags that we picked up at our local co-op. Just as another option that's out there.

So if plastic baggies and plastic wrap type products are free of pvc (saw them sold on greenfeet.com) does that mean they are safe to use for food storage? Yes, I know....it's still wasteful. But my husband makes his own lunch in the mornings and he's not into using the chinese lunchbox I bought him. Maybe with some convincing
