Whenever my daughter urinates in her trainers, she gets this red rash around her genital area. If I let her go around diaper free for a couple of minutes it goes away instantly.

Why does this happen? Should I apply something on it?

What type of trainers are they, synthetic or natural fibers? Washing routine?

Another thought I had was allergies, but it's because my ds has allergies, my mind always tends to go there first... His usually comes with certain foods, but with bm's, he'll get really red if he's eaten something he's allergic to. But I suppose it could happen with urine, too.

But I'm more inclined to think it's a fabric or washing issue.
