Hi everyone!

My name is Coleen and I am a queer, 38 year old woman who is married to another queer (near) 38 year old woman. We have been on this fertility road for two and a half years with lots of cross-info from our fertility doc, OBGYN, and Midwife. We're taking matters into our own hands and self-inseminating. WE HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN TO TRY YET! No more.

Please feel free to send along any advice you might think I'd find useful. I will be (and have been) doing my own research as well. FYI, we have no reason to believe that either of us are infertile because they keep finding teeny reasons not to let us try that are mostly paperwork-related (ridiculous).

Thank you!
Coleen

Do you think they are thwarting you because they don't like that you are a queer couple?

I have a friend in NC who got inseminated, and she's a single queer mother! I am sorry they are putting you through this.

Good luck on your journey! :)
