I am having some really nasty after pains. I have some Afterease but want my uterus to clamp down, will Afterease lessen the effectiveness of the work my body is doing or just ease the pain? Anyone??

I used it for my last birth & it only eased the pain. I could still feel a slight ache when having the pains ~ but nothing to the degree I had before I took it....FWIW, I was on heavy pain meds w/ my 4th baby from the afterpains ~ with my 5th I used afterease & it was amazing!

I took about half of a dose and that day then ended lightening up quite a bit. I'm not sure if it was the afterease or just time for things to settle down.

I really LOVE Afterease for the afterpains. It's always in my birth supplies kit.
