I had some bleeding last night that has since stopped. Should I refrain from having sex for a while? I have never had any bleeding with any of my pregnancies and I am not sure if it is still safe to have sex right now. Thanks!

I would listen to your instincts and if you have the gut feeling that you shouldn't then you probably shouldn't.

I have been pushing my (poor) dh away because I had some spotting that seemed related to sex (and/or exercising). I just don't want the extra worry right now!! Do what you think is best!

I went to the ER last week for spotting, and both the ER dr and my mw said to go on 'pelvic rest' meaning not having sex, no tampons, duching (sp?),not that I was doing any of those things anyway! THey said at least till week 12.
